Mariam Mohyeddin
Senior Physiotherapist (UK)
About
Mariam is a highly trained specialist physiotherapist with over 12 years of experience. She graduated in England with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with Honours.
She specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a particular focus on problems caused by prolonged inactivity, sports or activity-related injuries and tendon rehabilitation. While she has a strong passion for sport, she treats patients across all ability levels, from adolescents to adults who want to stay active as they age, helping them optimise their potential and movement longevity.
A former university Premier League basketball player, Mariam brings personal insight into injury recovery and performance. Outside the clinic, she practises strength and conditioning and Pilates and enjoys the occasional game of padel.
Committed to lifelong learning, Mariam recently completed a Digital Health course through Harvard, exploring how emerging technologies can enhance clinical decision-making, patient engagement and outcomes.
Treatment approach
Mariam’s approach looks beyond short-term recovery, focusing on building resilience and movement capacity for years to come.
Having struggled and recovered through her own injuries, she understands her role as a physiotherapist is to listen carefully, assess comprehensively and uncover what is really driving a patient’s symptoms rather than simply treating where the pain is.
Her approach is always patient-centred. Through detailed assessment and clinical reasoning, Mariam creates individually tailored treatment plans that combine her “M&M approach” — manual therapy and movement. Treatment is supported by clear education and practical home exercises when appropriate.
She also takes a holistic view of health and well-being, considering movement alongside factors such as stress management, sleep and nutrition.
